Dining
“Among the challenges required for Dos Croquetas was to minimize cost while maximizing the usable area ……… and creating a positive, clean and memorable visual impact on their clients while doing it.
As both architects and interior designers we came up with a dress manual for this new concept restaurant that has become a local hit in the short time it has been open. Playing upon the colors and playful nature of this now established start-up concept, we went through several iterations of our design to get to this final with our clients.
We all worked hard on this concept to make sure it worked as well as we could make it on paper before ever moving to construction. Precise dimensioning and modeling of equipment using 3D modeling was key to our mutual success.
Since opening, Dos Croquetas has been over performing their estimates and business plan. They hope to expand soon to other locations while keeping the feel and look of this first pilot location.”

Dos Croquetas II
Located in the center of “Little Havana”, the next location of this unique restaurant concept is expected to eclipse the already outstanding performance of the initial location. At this location that we only had to tweak the original design to tie the two locations together and begin to establish a corporate image for future growth.
Blue Island
Located outside of Orlando in the city of Winter Park, this was an original honky-tonk bar location which wanted to expand to more of an eatery than bar with greatly expanded seating in both high top and regular tables. The client was also looking to expand into outdoor dining with this project and have it be part of the restaurant seating area. The aesthetic goal of making the space a more open with much more in the way of natural lighting during expanded daytime operation. This project included a full service kitchen and bar.
